I don’t believe analog is automatically better than digital, or that expensive equipment makes a great record.
I use both because they solve different problems exceptionally well. Analog processing can bring dimensionality, saturation, movement, and physical character. Modern digital tools provide extraordinary precision, recall, and control.

I’ve spent more than a decade working across music production, mixing, and mastering, from Alpha Pup Records and Cosmic Zoo Studio to building Deftune into an independent Southern California engineering studio.
I’m also an artist and producer, which shapes the way I approach engineering: technical decisions matter, but the emotional identity of the record comes first.
